Inspirations from Selfmade Tattoos

Hello, I'm David.

I’m originally from Budapest, Hungary, and have been involved in the tattoo and piercing industry for over two decades. I am a tattoo artist, piercer and the manager at Selfmade Tattoo Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg.

I received my first tattoo at the age of 15 and ever since then I've been in love with tattoos as an art form and a mean of self-expression. What began as passion has now become my profession – and I’m lucky to do what I love every day.

I enjoy working with a variety of styles and sizes as a tattoo artist, ranging from small and delicate Fineline tattoos to Sketch Style, bold Blackwork and vivid, expressive designs. I love creating tattoos that feel personal and suit the person wearing them.

One of my favourite aspects of tattooing is getting to meet new people every day, listening to their stories and turning their ideas into something they can keep with them for the rest of their lives. For me, a good tattoo session involves more than just the final design; it also includes good communication, a close attention to detail and making you feel at ease during the whole process.

Hello I'm Koukos from Athens, Greece! I started tattooing in 2011 while I was studying at the University of Fine Arts in Athens and since 2016 I am a full time tattoo artist. I love traveling around the world and learn more about tattoos, people and cultures. My style is a mix of realism, fine lines, dotwork and sketch style with a graphical/abstract approach. For me every single customer is special that is why I’m making a unique, custom design each time. The thing I love the most about my job is the feedback and the trust/love I get back from my customers. This is so rewarding and fuels me with energy and positive vibes!

Hi, I‘m Ilfo from Athens, Greece and I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2016. I am a graphic designer and graffiti artist with great love for vibrant colors and shading, which you can also see in my tattoos. My style is a mix of newschool/comic and neotraditional but I also like doing blackwork, linework and graphical designs using dotwork. I love tattooing and meeting new people every day.
